All Gussied Up (Bubbleshare, A New Header, and Some Buttons)

Hey hey everyone. I've been away for a couple days while I work on setting up the new domain. You may have noticed a few cosmetic changes scattered around the site.

1. First and foremost is the new header, boldly emblazoned with the brand spankin' new title of this blog: reVrb. I felt the site need something more succinct -- catchalicious, if you will, to present to the blogging community. Unfortunately, my dumbass hosting service has impeded my progress on the domain front, so I have settled in the short term for minor cosmetic improvements, the second of which is...

2. A brand new slideshow widget. You would not believe the nonsense and time wasting that went into finding a new widget. The Picasa slideshow only allows for 500 images per show, and with the new batch I just posted, I have now exceeded that limit. Tried Flickr, didn't look good when it was shrunk down to size. Tried yourminis, it worked for two days and then croaked for reasons I shall never know. Tried esnips, they don't even do slideshow's just individual images. Tried Rockyou, couldn't get it to work with my Flickr or Picasa collections. Tried Slideroll, but it couldn't access all of my flickr photos. But finally, thank the lord, I stumbled upon Bubbleshare where all man's slideshow dreams come true. There are some downsides to be sure, but at least it works and it sure does look purty.

3. Buttons! Over in the button area, I have added a Second Life button that will teleport you directly to my virtual dive bar if you have Second Life installed. And why haven't you yet? Stop loafing around and get in there. It's free for cryin' out loud!

4. Somehow, although I didn't alter the code at all, the bookmark buttons in each post now have a roll out menu instead of a pop-up window. Hooray! Thanks blogging gnomes.
