I was rooting around in old folders, and I discovered this recording of a song called "Christmas In Birmingham" that I wrote last December when we were visiting Birmingham for the holidays. At that time, moving here was only a notion, and a crazy one at that. But now here I am in the deep south, and this song seems strangely prescient. Kitchen Diaries - Beardyman
I'm not big on electronic music. It's so cold and impersonal, and it seems to remove the human element from the listening experience. Even though it's created by the living, it's all metal machine music to me. However, beatboxing is another beast completely, and I love it! It's organic, physically impressive, and just downright cool as all get out. This here clip is one of the funniest and most impressive I've seen. It was created by a fella under the moniker Beardyman, an award winning beatboxer from the UK, and it's funktified with all you need for a balanced break-fast. Sweet Home Alabama
Hello out there! Sorry for the long hiatus in posting, but I was busy packing everything I own into a truck and moving from New York to Alabama. I did it without stopping in just under 24 hours as well, though I was barely standing by the end of it all. Anyway, I'm back on the horse, and ready to rock! How about you? Are you ready?
