I was rooting around in old folders, and I discovered this recording of a song called "Christmas In Birmingham" that I wrote last December when we were visiting Birmingham for the holidays. At that time, moving here was only a notion, and a crazy one at that. But now here I am in the deep south, and this song seems strangely prescient.
