It always surprises me when Sunday has all the great shows. Today's pick was really difficult, and in the end I'm going with the one that really hit me in the gut:

I have a feeling I will be listening to Ingrid Michaelson for a long time. Her songs are good from the get go. They are constantly morphing, emotionally weighty pieces of magic. Her voice is at once powerful and soft, haunting and uplifting. You should go. Don't take my word for it, though, have a listen for yourself.
