I'm really excited for some of the acts coming up this weekend, and the whole thing starts off with a bang.

Let me be absolutely clear about this: JJ Grey & Mofro drip soul in funktastic ways that many of us will never be capable of. They make me wanna raise up my hands and break out in ecstatic dancing. These guys played Bonnaroo, opened for Widespread Panic, Ben Harper and B.B. King, and you can see them for a mere pittance here in your backyard. If you like being moved by your music (to laughter, to dance, to tears), be there.
