Sunday, SUNDAY, Sunday! Come on out and get your last licks in at:
Blue Moon @ The Burly Earl
Admission: ?
Get There: 7PM
I discovered these classic rockers at City Stages last weekend, and it looks like a few other people have recently too, because they are now playing every Sunday night at The Burly Earl for "Teen Night". Now, I know the prospect of a room full of sweaty teens may be enticing to some and anathema to others. Never the less, it's worth checking these fellas out, even if only for a little while.
On a side note, this is the first time I've picked a show at The Burly Earl. Hooray! Good music is spreading.

I ended up catching another great local musician last night -- Mark Kimbrel and his trio (a quartet, last night) were playing at Marty's. It was a laid back, small but enthusiastic crowd. By the second set, the band was smoking! Thanks for continuing to keep the excitement up around the local music scene.
