HEY HEY GUYS! I'm sick but I came up for air just long enough to enjoy Will Sheff's fine self at WorkPlay. I should reword that. After enjoying an AMAZING set by Crooked Fingers, I was lucky enough to catch Okkervil River for the first time live.
And it was JUST as intense as I thought. Maybe it was the extra doses of cough medicine, but I could've sworn that I have never seen the emotional intensity of a record transferred so well into a band's live performance. Will Sheff was miraculous and I can still hear the sweet sound of him wailing and head bobbing in my head.
Favorite songs of the night? 'Black' and 'The Latest Toughs'
